Ernesta Guzaite Professional Performer, Piano and Voice Instructor
Ernesta Guzaite is originally from Lithuania. She was born in musicians family and began her music studies at the age of 6. Ernesta graduated from Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2009 with Master of Music in Choral Conducting and Music Education. Same year Ernesta was selected to sing in Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre Choir. In addition to years of performing experience Ernesta has been directing college and children choirs and teaching general music lessons. In 2010 Ernesta moved to Austin, TX, where she was conductor and singer with Texas Choral Consort and appeared in projects "The Sounding Joy" and “One Vision - Music of Queen” with internationally touring band "Jeans n' Classics" and Austin Symphony Orchestra. She also taught piano and voice to students across wide spectrum of levels, ages and backgrounds. Number of her students auditioned and were accepted to music colleges and selected for various musical roles. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Ernesta is an active soloist and professional choir singer. She is a staff contralto at John Alexander Singers and Pacific Chorale. Her upcoming performances with Pacific Chorale include Handel's "Messiah" and Vaughan Williams' "A Sea Symphony" at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Ernesta loves sharing her knowledge and joy of music by offering piano and voice instruction to students of different ages and skill levels.
